Golan Rooms, located in Moshav Ramot, is a good starting point when traveling to the tourist attractions in and around the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) and the Golan Heights. For those of you who are more adventurous, the Golan region has a multitude of streams and gorges for hiking, trails for mountain biking, horse back riding and off roading. Jeep tours are also easily arranged and offer unparalleled views of the pristine nature that surrounds us. Being at the crossroads of Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean has made the Golan region pivotal throughout history, but this fact also formed one of the most varied ecosystems in the world. The oak and terebinth forests are home to many wildflowers only found here, as well as wild boar, mountain gazelles, migrating birds, foxes, and jackals. Encounters are common, so don’t forget the film.

The laid-back beaches of Sea of Galilee are a playground for kayaking, waterskiing, windsurfing, kite surfing, and jetskiing. Quiet coves also abound from which you can watch the action from afar or do nothing at all.
